How to travel around China during the pandemic period

Almost one year has passed since the outbreak of Covid-19 in China. At the beginning, people thought the pandemic may end in between half a year and one year, however, there is no hint that the pandemic will come to an end so far. Many travelers postponed their travel plan due to the disease. Now, they found they may have to cancel it, or replace their original destinations with somewhere safer. China is a good option!

It is safe to travel around China

Although China was the place where the Covid-19 outbreak started, there are only a few local Covid-19 patients in China at present. Most other patients are travelers who just arrived in China from other countries. In fact, after series of measures carried out by the government, the pandemic has been under control since March 2020.

Now, more and more domestic flights and trains are back to business. All the restaurants, tourist attractions, shopping malls and other places where tourists may visit, have also been open as usual for half a year. According to the government report, over 637 million Chinese people traveled during the National Day holiday (October 1st to 7th, 2020), which was still less than the last year’s 782 million, but things are getting much better.
